Goldie is Done

Super psyched!!! Shawn and I just finished the one year project at the Bastion Wall in the Ghost "Goldie" and we did not need to hire help for it !! This has been a bit of a battle compared to Lost in Translation and Devils and Dust (Both 5.11). This one is substantially harder and steeper the rock is again great especially on the last 3 pitches. The goal today was to work on pitch 3 and 4 . I sent #3 on the first try and Shawn send pitch 4 on his first try also, so that's how the day ended. All we had left to do was go to the car and drink a beer. Can't wait to hear about a second ascent so get off you butt and go do it guys and girls.
